Framing the Horizon: Event Curation at Finca Almendra.
There is an inherent poetry to a historic Mallorcan finca. Built from rugged, sun-warmed stone and surrounded by endless silver-green olive groves, these estates possess a grounding texture that time cannot alter. The design challenge lies in stepping into these epic environments and introducing an event aesthetic that feels entirely modern, yet completely at home.
For our recent curation at Finca Almendra a premier estate nestled between the mountains and the sea we wanted to challenge the traditional corporate gala format.
Moving away from rigid, towering arrangements that block the view, we composed an expansive, low-profile living runway that stretched horizontally across the terrace, framing the landscape rather than competing with it.
The Architecture of an Open Air Tablescape
Set upon a vast limestone terrace as the sun began its golden descent, a streamlined, extra-long light oak dining table served as our canvas. Rather than relying on uniform, repetitive centerpieces, the floral design was conceived as an artfully scattered, asymmetrical landscape that mirrored the rolling ridges of the mountains beyond.
The design relied on a meticulous balance of desaturated pastels and sharp, graphic transitions:
The Floating Canopy: Rising above the base of the arrangement on slender, whimsical stems were delicate Icelandic poppies in shades of cream, pale peach, and soft yellow. Their papery petals caught the cross-breeze, introducing movement to the table.
The Grounding Tones: Nestled closer to the wood surface were soft blush roses and textured eucalyptus, interwoven with striking, unexpected clusters of deep purple tulips. This rich, moody contrast added an instant editorial edge, anchoring the lighter spring tones.
The Tactile Details: To complete the minimalist luxury aesthetic, we eschewed classic white candles for slender, earth-toned taper candles in minimalist brass holders, placed entirely at irregular intervals.
The styling was kept intentionally clean: pressed oat-linen napkins draped softly over the edge of the table, paired with minimalist white china, sleek gold flatware, and cut-crystal stemware that beautifully refracted the fading daylight.

A Still Moment in the Luxury Sector
Captured in the quiet hour before the guests arrived, the empty terrace offered a masterclass in spatial harmony. Without the distraction of a crowd, the visual dialogue between the historic stone finca, the structured lines of the oak table, and the wildness of the floral sculpture was absolute.
As the sky turned a soft, dusty rose over the horizon, the scene perfectly captured the Bloom Society ethos: design that is deeply connected to its environment, tailored for exceptional spaces.
